The Ten Steps for Healthy Toddlers encompass everything needed to provide toddlers with a good start in life, supporting everyday decisions about nutrition and activity with practical tips. 

The Ten Steps Programme works to ensure that better advice informs and influences practice and ultimately behaviour, so that all can benefit from a body of impartial, evidence-based guidance and best practice about feeding, healthy eating and development. Covering pregnancy to preschool, the Ten Steps were created in collaboration with key stakeholders and opinion leaders and represent a consensus based on the available guidelines and evidence base.
