These are black and white information sheets taken from the back of the Factsheets. Here they can be downloaded separately, and can be photocopied to aid your work with parents. Some of these sheets are also available on the Little People’s Plates website in a more visual format.
Toddler Dietary Assessment Charts
These downloadable charts have been developed to help record and monitor what a toddler is eating, and to see how closely this meets the recommendations for a toddler’s daily and weekly food intake. They can be used to compliment face-to-face advice, and are also available for parents to use themselves on the Little People’s Plates website.

The latest resource available through Little People’s Plates is the
Tot It Up food calculator, designed to help parents monitor and asses what their toddler is eating, and to compare this to the recommendations. It also allows them to monitor their toddler’s activity levels and includes practical tips on how to encourage active play as well what constitutes a healthy diet for toddlers.
