Judy is a registered dietitian specialising in children`s nutrition. She was chairman of the Paediatric Group of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) from 1999 - 2002 and continues to represent the BDA on a number of groups concerned with infant and child nutrition. She has worked in both teaching hospitals and the community for several years and now works freelance - teaching, writing books and nutrition articles and advising schools, private patients and community groups. Her current interests are in public health issues and she has recently researched and written articles on Healthy Start, LCPs, infant feeding, organic baby food, rickets and fluid requirements in children.
