The aim of these downloadable Factsheets is to provide evidence-based information and best-practice guidance on the feeding and nutrition of children aged one to three years.
Each Factsheet contains a discussion of the topic in question, a summary of key learning points, and a `Guidance & Tips for Parents` page that can be downloaded as a seperate sheet and used to complement face-to-face advice.
The Factsheets are designed to be practical, working tools for health visitors, nursery nurses and other healthcare professionals who interact regularly with toddlers and their parents.
The series covers four main areas:

We are developing further Factsheets and anticipate that the collection will eventually number over 25. Selection of topics is based on a survey of healthcare professionals: Toddler HCP U&A Study by TNS Healthcare. Jan-Mar 2005. As such the complete series is not yet finalised, but a work in progress.
This does mean that occasionally you will find one Factsheet refers to another that is not yet available. We apologise for any frustration that this might cause. Our aim is that the completed series will be like a text book, where one chapter can refer you to another for additional information. In the meantime, all Factsheets currently available can be downloaded or ordered from our website.
